Dennis Postema,
RFC, President/CEO
Dennis is an incredibly successful entrepreneur, #1 bestselling author, coach, speaker, and RFC. After working as a captive agent for a large insurance carrier, he realized he could offer his clients more options, better products, and a more secure future if he went independent. So, at age 23, he did.
Today, Dennis’ independent agency, Postema Insurance & Investments (PI&I), works with over 90 carriers to ensure all of his clients have access to the best products from the most highly rated carriers. PI&I has over two dozen agents and offices in five locations throughout Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky. In addition, Dennis’ focus on helping clients rather than simply selling products landed him on the cover of Agents Sales Journal (Senior Market Edition) in 2011.
In 2009, Dennis Launched Postema Marketing Group (PMG) to help independent agents across the country deliver industry-leading products and services to their clients and build thriving agencies. Combining the same "help rather than sell" approach with one of the product lines in the business has put PMG on a growth trajectory far exceeding Dennis' expectations.
Dennis contributes much of his success to his dedication to improving lives and teaching clients, agents, and associates how to find motivation and ascend psychological barriers. His personal experiences with tragedy, life-changing surgeries, and health issues give him a unique perspective on what it means to achieve success and what's actually standing in the way of it. He channels that perspective into educational and motivational books and programs on the topics of finance, perseverance, success, and business.
In 2012, he released his first book, Retirement You Can't Outlive, which became a #1 Bestseller on Amazon. The following year he released Avoiding a Legacy Nightmare, another #1 Bestseller. Joe Santore, President of Annuity & Life Distribution
Joe began his insurance marketing career in 2000, and then joined PMG in 2006. Between the two companies, he has held roles of annuity wholesaler, recruiter, and key account manager. Prior to entering the financial services industry, Joe was involved in business advertising. Therefore, his diverse background enables him to deliver a unique perspective and skill set to the agents he serves. His goal is to be the #1 annuity resource for independent agents, agencies, and mid-sized insurance marketing firms.
As President of Annuity Distribution, Joe ensures PMG's agents are professionally served with effective, timely communication and reliable information. Additionally, he keeps agents up to date on educational opportunities, concept and product presentations, prospecting, and coaching.
Joe has a beautiful wife, Dayna, and two amazing children: Gavyn, an avid golfer who loves being outdoors, and Emma, a little diva who enjoys following around her big brother.
Kathy Shrader, Tax and Accounting Consultant
Kathy traveled extensively throughout her childhood years before settling in Defiance, OH, where she graduated from Tinora High School. After owning several businesses in the artistic field (Winchester Ceramics, The Country Nook, and Shrader Woodworking), Kathy obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and then a Master's in Teaching and Learning with Technology with a specialization in Finance. During that time, Kathy turned her attention to the financial field and became Office Manager and Executive Assistant for 15 years for a local investment group. In 2013, she joined the Postema Insurance & Investments team as the Tax and Accounting Specialist in the Postema Accounting Solutions division. Kathy's passions in life include reading, kayaking, waterskiing, working with numbers, and preparing income tax returns.
